Margaretha officially dropped a restraining order she’d placed on Tasha – who now goes by the name of Alari Stark – in an effort to create a happy family.
Leida married Alari’s father on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé, and moved to America on a K-1 Visa. The feud between the women started almost immediately when Leida became uncomfortable with Alari’s messy tendencies. From there, fighting between the two was a regular occurrence on the show.
The 90 Day Fiancé stars seem to be putting it behind them, though. Speaking to In Touch, Leida said she dropped a restraining order filed against Alari.
“The restraining order [was] never meant to be forever,” she said. “I did that because I had to. I have nothing against Alari. It breaks my heart to see this family had to [be] this way, and I know that my husband, Eric, is really [caring] and he loves his kids. Then when I heard they’re both sincere and talk each other again, I’m thinking like, ‘[Why] should I continue this family feud?’”
She also said the decision came partially from Alari’s forgiveness. “At the same time, I heard from my husband that Alari has nothing against me either, so I think it [was] best to proceed to dismiss the restraining order,” Leida explained. “Especially [since] Alari and I shared the same hobbies like crafting, cosplay, and art, so it’s so unfortunate if we can’t support each other as a family. We are family, whether you like it or not, we are, somehow related. So, that’s also the reason why I just decided to drop it.”
In April, Alari gave refunds to those who contributed to a GoFundMe fundraiser set up to pay legal fees to fight the restraining order. At the time, Alari said the cost of fighting the order was too expensive.
Now, Alari said her issues extended beyond family drama. “The 90 Day drama aside, I’ve been going through a lot and things have been stupid hard for me lately. So allowing anybody new in my life, whether or not I’ve known them in the past, has been a trip,” she noted.
The family has made amends with Alari and Leida sharing their passion for cosplay by hosting a panel on the topic. Leida posted a video from the panel on Instagram on October 28, which shows her and Alari speaking about their hobby.
